Here's another recommendation for a future show: Janice Pariat, author of the recent novel "Everything the Light Touches" (2022). Beautiful writing, beautiful vitalist vision of all living things, all life on earth.
Great episode! The guest's audio sounds like it wasn't recorded in an ideal setting with ideal equipment. I highly suggest using Descript's Studio Sound feature to overcome this flaw for future(verse) episodes. I'm looking forward to the next one!
Love the first episode and that you want to cover climate fiction with the podcast. Ramanan asked if there was any interesting Norwegian/Scandinavian authors on this topic and I will recommend reading up on Maja Lunde with her "Climate Quartet" that includes The history of bees, The End of the Ocean, Przewalskis Horse and a fourth book not yet published in english (A dream of a tree).

Love this; yes!
We will attempt to track her down!
Loved this, and looking forward to more soon! I second Bradley's recommendation of Richard Powers. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Mark!

future(verse), I see what you did there. :)
This is super helpful feedback. We will get better!
The content is very high quality. That’s the hard part. Which you nailed!

She does not have a very active digital presence, but I found her old site here: https://web.archive.org/web/20220926124758/http://www.majalunde.com/ and I can try to help you find a connection through some norwegian sites if interesting:)
Frode, that is a great suggestion and thank you. This is very interesting -- please help us find our way to her!
Good Luck Molly
